November 21st, 2008 | No Comments | Filed in Action

Though the official launch is still a bit far away (December 2 for consoles and December 12 for PC), the Prince Of Persia launch trailer has already showed up:

Set in a land rooted in ancient Persian mythology, the Prince finds himself caught in an epic battle between the primal forces of light and darkness: the God of Light, Ormazd versus his brother Ahriman, the destructive God of Darkness. The Prince arrives just in time to witness the destruction of the legendary Tree of Life an act which threatens to plunge the entire world into eternal darkness. Manifested in the form of the Corruption, a dark substance that physically contaminates the land and the skies, the Prince must partner with Elika, a deadly companion, to heal the world from the evil Corruption.

Blizzard Is Working On A New MMO

November 16th, 2008 | No Comments | Filed in MMO

At the same time with the launch of the WoW expansion pack, Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard announced that they are working on a new MMO. The game is still in its first development phases and an exact date for the official announcement isn’t known yet.

This is what Paul Sams, COO at Blizzard, said:

We want to create a great game… Something that’s cool, and new, and different, and kind of next generation in terms of look and feel and gameplay. That’s a challenging endeavour…We’re definitely at the beginning, in the first half of development…”

After four years of WoW, and the previous experience with Battle.net, Blizzard is more than capable of creating a superior MMO. Looking forward to hearing what it will be about.

November 8th, 2008 | No Comments | Filed in Racing Games

Finally we get to see a trailer for NFS: Undercover that trully shows us what NFS means. EA just launched the Cops trailer, which you can enjoy below. You will see a classic car chase, with helicopters and road blocks. Unfortunately, the movie that shows up when the police catches you looks a lot like the one from Most Wanted.

Fallout 3 Mini-Review

fallout3minireview

Alright, so I played Fallout 3 and I finished it just now. Overall, the game is good, but I had higher expectations from it, so for me it’s a little disappointing. I’m really looking forward for the Construction Set to be released, so I can start the game over.

The Next Elder Scrolls 5 Game, Probably In 2010

November 2nd, 2008 | No Comments | Filed in RPG Games

oblivion-elderscrolls

Yes! This is the announcement I was waiting for, even if the launch is 2 years away. Until Morrowind and Oblivion, no other game has ever kept me in front of the computer for so long. The success of the Elder Scrolls games (as far as I’m concerned at least) is brought by the Construction Set and the impressive community of modders that use it.

It’s the reason I play Fallout 3 these days, even though I haven’t played the previous versions. I play it because I expect a Construction Editor to come out, and the modders to go wild, creating objects, NPC’s, towns and new worlds based on this game.

Though I would be interested of buying a Wii just to experience the next Elder Scrolls game in a new way, they don’t seem to be interested in this platform, with plans to release it only for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Fallout 3 Will Not Be Released In India

October 27th, 2008 | No Comments | Filed in Fallout 3

As you may know, Fallout 3, the RPG that will be released by Bethesda, met a series of problems right from the pre-launch phase. I’m referring to the content that some people thought it was referring to drugs. So, if some wanted it modified, it was modified for everyone.

Now, Microsoft decided not to release Fallout 3 in India at all, since some of the content might offend the Indians.
